What you get

The company behind the website
The registered name and legal form (GmbH, UG, GmbH & Co. KG, AG, e.K., PartG mbB, GesmbH, Sàrl and more), the managing directors, owners or partners, and the register entry with type, number and court: HRB and HRA in Germany, the Firmenbuch number in Austria, the UID in Switzerland.
A VAT ID you can rely on
Every EU VAT ID is checked live in VIES, the European Commission’s register, free of charge. You see at once whether the number is valid, and for most countries the name and address the tax office has on file.
The right company, not the web designer
Legal notices also name the hosting provider, the web agency, the insurer and the professional chamber. The Actor takes the name that stands with the business address and leaves the others out.
Pay only for results
You are charged for companies found. Websites without a legal notice, without readable company data or that do not answer get a clear status with the reason, free of charge. Each website and each company is read and charged once per run, even if it appears several times.
Fits your lead and CRM workflow
Pick the dataset of a Google Maps scraper run as input to complete local leads with the legal company data. Export to JSON, CSV, Excel or Google Sheets, connect Make, Zapier or n8n, or add the Actor to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor as a tool with one URL: https://mcp.apify.com?tools=layerwiselabs/impressum-company-data

Questions

Which countries does it cover?

Germany, Austria and Switzerland, where every business website must publish a legal notice (Impressum). It follows the link named Impressum, Imprint or Legal notice on its own and also handles one-page sites with the notice in the footer.

What does it cost?

$2 per 1,000 companies found, with no start fee. Websites without a legal notice, without readable company data or that do not answer are listed with the reason, free of charge. 100 websites from a Google Maps search with 70 legal notices cost $0.14.

Can I use my Google Maps results?

Yes. Pick the dataset of your Google Maps scraper run in the input, and the Actor reads the website of every place and adds the legal company data. You can combine the dataset with your own list of domains.

How reliable is the VAT check?

Every EU VAT ID is checked live in VIES, the European Commission's register, at the moment of the run. You see whether the number is valid and, for most countries, the name and address the tax office has on file. Swiss UID numbers are marked as not part of VIES.

Is it legal to collect data from the Impressum?

The legal notice is published so that anyone can identify the business behind a website. The data describes companies; where it names people, such as managing directors, make sure your use of it complies with the GDPR. This is not legal advice.
