Questions
Which channels can it read?
Every public channel with the web preview switched on, which is the default: the same posts anyone sees at t.me/s/<channel> without logging in. Groups and private channels are named in the run status, and the run carries on with the other channels.
What does it cost?
$0.50 per 1,000 posts returned, with no start fee. Posts filtered out by your date range or keywords are free. The last 100 posts of 10 channels cost $0.50, and hourly monitoring of 20 channels with 50 matches a day costs about $0.75 a month.
Can I use it from my own code or an AI agent?
Yes. Call it through the Apify API, export to JSON, CSV, Excel or Google Sheets, connect it to Make, Zapier or n8n, or let AI agents use it through the Apify MCP server.
What happens if Telegram does not answer?
Short hiccups are retried. If Telegram stops answering, the run ends cleanly after a few tries and keeps everything delivered so far, so you never pay for waiting. A monitor simply continues where it stopped.
